How It Works

Exchange Experience

Contributing a dress to the exchange is the best way to take advantage of all the benefits available at a dress event.  Upon arrival a Drestiny staff person will:

• Screen each dress to ensure it is a clean, current and high quality garment.

• Issue up to a $20 credit for each dress accepted by the exchange which will be applied to the purchase price of any dress at the exchange.

Dress Acceptance Guidelines are posted under the Guidelines tab or visit our Dress Gallery to illustrate the type and quality of dresses eligible for exchange at Drestiny sponsored events. 

Sale Experience

If you do not contribute a dress to the exchange then you simply purchase the dress at the tagged price. A visit to our Dress Gallery will illustrate the type and quality of dress available at Drestiny sponsored events.    

Pre-registration

Simply send an e-mail to editor@drestiny.com  with the following information to preregister for the exchange: 

• Date of the event  

• Name, address and phone number(s) 

• Description of the dress(es) including the size, color, dress brand name/designer and year of purchase.   Pictures are encouraged.

• Dress size and type you'll be shopping for at the exchange

The pre-registration and screening of dresses is an integral part of the dress exchange program for it provides Drestiny staff with an opportunity to examine each dress to ensure that it is appropriate for the exchange and thereby reducing dress rejection on the day of the exchange day.  Drestiny reserves the right to refuse any, even a pre-screened dress for any reason. 

Pre-registrants will receive a gift bag with purchase.
