Dress Acceptance Guidelines

All dresses will be examined by a Drestiny staff member before being accepted for the exchange.   Dresses must be of high quality, clean and in current style.  Dresses eligible for exchange, were likely worn to a bar/bat mitzvah, cotillion, wedding, promotion, graduation or other special occasion.  Dresses that are deemed out of date, stained, torn or in poor condition are not accepted by the exchange.

Size Parameters

Since this event is geared for “tweens” and young teens only the following sizes will be acceptable for exchange:   

Womens and Misses dress will not be accepted by the exchange.                                           

Dress Label/Manufacturer Parameters

While each dress stands on its own merit, Drestiny staff will examine each dress and dress label to ensure that we are accepting garments of only the highest quality.  By examining the dress labels we are ensuring an equitable exchange for all participants.  A sampling of the labels we accept include but are not limited to:  Jessica McClintock, Les Tout Petits, K.C. Parker, Necessary Objects, Zum Zum, C.W. Designs, Zoe LTD, Un Deux Trios, Pirouette. 

Typically, the dresses eligible for exchange were not purchased at Target, J.C. Penney, Limited Too, or Macy’s.  A sampling of labels which we will not accept but not limited to:  Xhiliration, Bonnie Jean, Hype, Speechless, Amy Byer, Mossimo, Perfectly Dresses, My Michelle.   

Drestiny reserves the right to refuse any dress for any reason.
